Through a partnership with McAfee, each D-Link router comes with a five-year gateway license that provides real-time protection to all the devices connected behind the router, including passive devices such as contact sensors and motion sensors.


The gateway license will constantly monitor traffic and alert users of any possibility of a security compromise. It also has the capability to inform users if there is an available firmware update or warn users when they forget to change the device's default common password, further enhancing protection.

The new D-Link EXO series provides a two-year unlimited full version of the McAfee LiveSafe client software to all active devices (Windows, Mac, iOS and Android) so that they are well-protected even when connecting to public hotspots or accidentally accessing malicious websites. Besides security control, the EXO routers offer schedule control and parental control, which helps parents keep their kids safe by limiting their online surfing activities.

Easy to Set Up and Protect
Configuring and setting up the EXO router and its extenders has never been so easy. To connect to the internet, simply download the D-Link Wi-Fi app and follow the easy step-by-step instructions to get started. The app also features firmware over-the-air (FOTA), which allows automatic firmware upgrades to ensure all devices have the latest firmware for any possible further enhancements.
