Leading ICT and digital services provider PLDT Enterprise—through its corporate business arm, PLDT ALPHA—once again showed its unwavering commitment to serve the IT-BPM industry at the 12th International ICT Awards Philippines.


The annual awards night has recognized industry pioneers and luminaries who have been instrumental in transforming the IT-BPM industry to become the economic stronghold it is today.

We believe in celebrating excellence through platforms such as these because they recognize how significantly the IT-BPM industry has contributed to the Philippine economy. As with previous years, PLDT Enterprise once again returned as a title sponsor and patron of the awards, presenting the Best Company of the Year award—one of the event’s most prestigious and sought-after titles—to Cognizant Technology Solutions Philippines Inc.

“This award is given to a company that has best exemplified the quality of work we do in the Philippines, particularly in the IT-BPM industry,” says Hernandez. “They serve as an inspiration to industry members and to the entire Philippine Business Community at large,” he added.

PLDT Enterprise continues to display a strong resolve to further expand the sunshine industry’s capabilities. Just last week, PLDT ALPHA VP & Head for Corporate Relationship Management Victor Aliwalas announced at Asia BPM Summit that the ICT provider will be collaborating with multinational artificial intelligence provider, Observe AI, to enable the IT-BPM industry with advanced AI technology.
